The stadium was constructed in the year 1989 and it was initially known as Goodyear Park which was later changed to OUTSurance Oval and then finally changed to Chevrolet Park. The stadium holds a capacity of 20,000 audiences and is a home ground of Knights Cricket Team and South African Cricket Team.
